Brighton based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

anne-guildford-psychotherapist
I have been practising psychoanalytic psychotherapy for ten years. I trained initially at the Tavistock Institute in London and then with the British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP) in London. The BAP training is registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). The BPC is the most senior organisation representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The BPC exists to protect the interests of the public by promoting standards in the selection, training, continuous professional development and conduct of psychotherapists. The organisations belonging to BPC offer the highest level of professional training available in the UK.

In addition to my private practice I have held Honorary Psychotherapist posts in the NHS in London and in Brighton. Prior to training as a psychotherapist I also worked for several years as a counsellor for not-for-profit organisations. My psychotherapy practice is in the Fiveways area of Brighton.

I practice under the Ethical Code of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
